Fabian Chen, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Chen brings extensive cardiovascular clinical development experience to InCarda. Dr. Chen was most recently Medical Director for Novartis’ Entresto Heart Failure clinical program (Adult and Pediatric).
Prior to Novartis, Dr. Chen worked in early and late drug development at Merck covering the areas of atherosclerosis, vascular disease, thrombosis, skeletal muscle disease, and cardiac ischemia protection.
He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and is a Faculty Attending at New York University/Bellevue Hospital. Prior to working in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Chen was an Assistant Professor of Cardiology, Pediatric Cardiology, and Molecular & Cellular Physiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. He completed his clinical Cardiology fellowship and Internal Medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine and his B.A. from Harvard College.
