“Addressing Unmet Need in Cardiovascular Disease” Panel

At the 2019 Biotech Industry Organization’s (BIO) International Conference held in June in Philadelphia, InCarda’s CEO, Dr. Grace Colon, was a participant on a panel of distinguished experts entitled “Addressing Unmet Need in Cardiovascular Disease.” The session focused on highlighting areas of high unmet need, such as atrial fibrillation, as well as on strategies to accelerate drug development, including incorporating digital health tools for improved enrollment and tracking.

“Non-traditional CEOs” Panel

At the conference, Dr. Colon was also moderator for a panel entitled “Non-traditional CEOs and Founders – How to Win in a Traditional World.” Additionally, InCarda’s Head of Corporate Development and Co-Founder/COO of Cadence Health, Samantha Miller, participated in this panel which discussed the challenges for underrepresented minorities and women in the corporate world and, particularly, start-ups.
