InCarda Therapeutics, Inc is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team. The right candidate will have 3 years of management experience and full cycle bookkeeping skills. Experience working with a public company is preferred. Time management, strong organization and being a team player are a must as well as excellent communications skills.

 

Responsibilities:

Supervise the daily operations of the accounting department, including:

  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • General ledger
  • Check runs
  • Cash receipts
  • Payroll
  • Assist with Budgeting and forecasting
  • Month and year-end processes
  • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
  • Reconciliation (Bank and any other accounts)
  • Produce and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Enforce proper accounting policies and methods
  • Assist with reports required for audits
  • Maintain fiscal files and records
  • Plan and implement the organization’s financial strategy
  • Track expenditures by Project
  • Make financial recommendations
  • Planning for the company’s future growth

Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of work experience in accounting or finance
  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, regulations, and laws
  • Advanced skills in accounting software and databases
  • Superior data management and analysis skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience hiring and training employees
  • Medical field experience a plus
  • Multi entity consolidation
  • Public company experience a plus
  • Ability to lead and supervise
