Robert has twenty-five years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with an emphasis on basic/pre-clinical research, portfolio and project management, licensing and alliance management in the cardiopulmonary and cardiovascular therapeutic areas. Over the span of his career he has participated in the development of several pre-clinical, clinical and marketed pharmaceutical compounds for the treatment of chronic heart failure, pulmonary arterial hypertension, resistant hypertension and cardiac arrhythmias.
Prior to joining InCarda Therapeutics, he was Senior Director and Project Manager Lead for the Cardiovascular Therapeutic Area at Gilead Sciences, Director of Project Management and Licensing at Myogen Inc, and Research Scientist in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Colorado Health Science Center and University of Utah Medical Center. He holds a B.S. degree from Brigham Young University, an M.S. in Physiology from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver.
